Tweed Ride DC

Today was the 3d Annual Tweed Bike Ride sponsored by Dandies and Quaintrelles, a Washington, DC based social group that organize vintage-inspired, stylish events in partnership with and in support of noble causes.  We  got a chance to dress in our finest tweeds and turn-of-the-century best. It's was all in the name of fun and I had a chance to take lots of photos.

jacket: ATL
top: F21
skirt: Banana Republic
shoes: Seychelles via Anthropologie
hat: ?
bag: vintage

The ride began at the historic Meridian Hill Park which is 5 blocks away from us so it was easy to get to.

  1. Lovely shots. I love your outfit and you hat!! Only problem.. the pictures are too small. It's hard to appreciate all the fashion and fabulousness with pictures this small.. Any chance you can make the pictures bigger on your site?

  5. Oooh I love the photos from this! And you two look amazing!

Love that you have bigger pictures - the horizontals don't fit into the current template, but that's easy to fix in blogger - let me know if I can help. But happy to see the bigger pics - easier to see you and your fabulous style!

  6. I have the perfect bike to ride for one of these events, and so wished that I could have been a part of the Tweed ride in my town this year! Alas, it was the same weeekend as my sister's graduation. You look marvelous, from the fur collar to the hat and the skirt length!
