My morning didn't start too well either. I ended up running late for work because for the life of me I couldn't figure out what to wear to work. With the s-load of clothes I have, nothing seemed to fit right. It was either too big or too sheer or too short, but I finally opted for dark blue slacks, a red floral sleeveless top and a khaki jacket with my new goldish necklace from BR. I guess I looked okay, although my pants have a funny fit. (Oh and I'm wearing gold - when did that happen? (not that there's anything wrong with that ;).
Oh, in case no one knows, I've lost about 20 lbs. from about 1.5 years ago so you can understand my dilemma of ill fitting clothes.
Wow! Congrats on such big weight loss...Lord knows it doesn't get any easier the older we all get!
ReplyDeleteI actually am up every.single.morning between 3 and 4.
And I don't know where I'd be without my "me" time!
Well done on the weight loss. I've been trying so hard to lose the 30 lbs I've put on over the past few years ( thank you menopause). I know what you mean about being an early riser too. About three years ago I started waking at 3:00 am every morning. But I can usually go back to sleep and wake up again at 5 . i like this outfit .Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI can relate, I have lost about 27 pounds since this time last year and it's stressful getting dressed every morning!
ReplyDeleteThough you may not feel this ensemble is your best, it's still pretty darn smart and stylish!
BTW found you from Audi's Fashion for Nerds, I saw your comment about DC fashion & I am a fellow DMV-er!
My weight has gone up in down a bit in the past 5 years and it's frustrating to have a roomful of clothes and not an outfit to wear. I recommend, only having out clothes that actually do fit- save some of your fave too small or bigs but pack em up. Just have on hand clothes that fit right and fit well.
ReplyDeleteI hope your day gets better!
